Increase, Increase, Increase... when it comes to LTL rates, that's all we hear from carriers today. Often times, when asking a LTL Carrier Rep what's driving the increase, you hear, "this account is not operating well," or "our operating ratio on your account is not where it needs to be."

What is an Operating Ratio?? --  It's basically when a carrier takes all the costs associated with your account and divides it by the revenue generated by your business. If that number is close to 100... they aren't making any money.

So what can you do about it?

In order to do something about it, you need to understand how carriers evaluate their cost. While it's not a perfect science, and each carrier measures cost a little differently, we've created a Top 3 Drivers of LTL Carrier Cost that can be found by clinking on the link below. Check it out!!Download "Drivers of LTL Carrier Cost"

As always, I welcome a call to dig deeper and evaluate how this make impact your company specifically.
